Let's say the total solution is 100 liters. 50 of the liters is glucose and 50 is water. We want to make the 50 glucose equal to 10% of the total solution. For that to happen, we need to make the total solution 500 liters (50 of the 500 would be a 10% solution). So we add 400 liters of water to the original 100 liter (50/50) solution. Take the total number of units and multiply by 4. Add that much in water.
For something to happen in increments or for it to happen incrementally means that it happens in small and discrete steps, and the implication is that the steps are in order. It can refer to a process that involves an increasing or decreasing amount of something.

Windows should not automatically revert, though glitches do happen in Windows and that may just be the cause. If the problem occurs, your best bet is to contact tech support or post your question to a Windows tech support forum. If you recently changed some settings, system files, or installed questionable software, doing a system restore may fix the problem. If nothing works, you may need to re-install Windows (with a non-destructive install, after backing up any important files and programs), as sometimes problems just happen in Windows and they need to be re-installed.
Windows could run low on available memory to run all the programs.
