I got 583 the following way :

4664 / 2 = 2332 -- even

2332 / 2 = 1166 -- even

1166 / 2 = 583 -- ODD so this must be it, since we took out the smallest possiblefactor of 2 each time

So 8 x 583 = 4664

Two smaller odd factors are the factors of 583 itself, which are 11 and 53 -- both prime numbers

The full prime factors of 4664 are 2^3 x 11 x 53
