∙ 10y agoThe median is the middle number of a set when they are in order, least to greatest. If there is an even number of values, the median is the average of the middle two. Ex. 10, 17, 20, 45, 68 The median is 20. The mean is the average, which is the total of the numbers divided by how many numbers there are. Ex. 10, 17, 20, 45, 68 68 + 45 + 20 + 17 + 10 = 160 There are 5 numbers in this set. 160/5 = 32 The mean is 32.

For three prime numbers to add up to 100, one of the numbers has to be 2, because otherwise the three prime numbers would all be odd, which would mean the sum of the numbers would also be odd.Two sets of three prime numbers that add up to 100 are:2 + 79 + 19 = 1002 + 67 + 31 = 100In this case, 67 exceeds 31 by 36, therefore, the three prime numbers in question are 2, 31, 67.
1.5, 3 and 4.5 is one possible answer. But if the numbers are restricted to integers, then there are two better sets that answer the same question: 1, 4 and 4; also, 2, 2 and 5.
If you mean the ratio of 3 4 5 then 168/12 = 14 and 5*14 = 70 which is the biggest.
What Five Numbers have a range of 5 a median of 16 and a mean of 15
The mean and the median of the two numbers, 12107 and 1115 are 6611.There is no mode. The range is 10992.
If there are only three numbers, the median MUST be the central number. Any question that claims otherwise is incorrect.
Prior to the introduction of 170, the mean, median, mode and range did not exist since there were no numbers at all. Once 170 is introduced, it becomes the mean, median and mode. The range is zero.

No.
Mean, median, and mode are three kinds of "averages". There are many "averages" in statistics, but these are the three most common. The "mean" is the "average" you're used to, where you add up all the numbers and then divide by the number of numbers. The "median" is the "middle" value in the list of numbers. To find the median, your numbers have to be listed in numerical order, so you may have to rewrite your list first. The "mode" is the value that occurs most often. If no number is repeated, then there is no mode for the list. The "range" is just the difference between the largest and smallest values.

Range is finding the difference in the highest number and the lowest number in a set of numbers
mean - the average of a number mode - a number that appears the most in a set of numbers median - the number in the middle after the set of numbers are put from least to greatest range - the difference between the largest and the smallest number in a set of numbers
The mean is 5. The median is 5. There are two modes = 2 and 7. The range is 7.
