Because the yield can never exceed the quantity in the original mix.
ie if an ore sample contains 3% of a mineral, if that 3% is extracted totally, then the yield is 100% and cannot be more because that's all there is in the sample.

when the object reaches maximum height, the velocity of the object is 0 m/s.It reaches maximum height when the gravity of the body has slowed its velocity to 0 m/s. If there is no gravity and there is no external force acting on it then it will never reach a maximum height as there wont be a negativeaccelerationdemonstrated by newtons first law.Where there is and you have the objects initial velocity then you can use :v^2 = u^2+2.a.sv = Velocity when it reaches Max. height so v = 0u = Initial Velocity (m/s)a = Retardation/ Negative Acceleration due to gravity, -9.80m/s ^2And then the unknown (s) is the displacement, or height above ground, and if everything else is in the right format it should be in metres.

You did something wrong in your calculation or you have some impurity. You never get 100% yield.
If you scored 40 in a test where the total mark was 50. The percetnage you achieved would be your mark divided by the total possible ad timesed by a hundred: (40/50) x 100 = 80% So devide the number by the maximum to make it into a fraction, and then times by a hundred. This is why (for lower level mathematics) percentages are said to never exceed 100% as one could never get more than 50 out of 50 on the test: (50/50) x 100 = 100%. 100% is the maximum.
