Well, honey, not all chickens lay eggs. You see, only the female chickens, called hens, are the ones popping out those breakfast essentials. The roosters, on the other hand, are just there to strut their stuff and make a whole lot of noise. So, if you're looking for some fresh eggs, you better stick with the ladies of the coop.

The females from all breeds of chickens lay eggs. Some hens stop laying when they are old, but there are no breeds or varieties of chickens in which the females do not lay eggs.

Roosters, as the male of the species, never lay eggs.

Well, friend, meat king chickens are bred specifically for their meat production, not for egg-laying. These chickens have been selectively bred to grow quickly and have large amounts of meat on their bodies. Why do chickens lay eggs all the time instead of when they are broody?

Chickens have a natural instinct to lay eggs regularly as part of their reproductive cycle. Broodiness is triggered by hormonal changes that encourage incubation of eggs, so chickens typically lay more eggs when they are not broody. This allows them to consistently produce eggs for reproduction.
