To convert decimals to a fraction, change the decimal to a percent, by multiplying the
decimal by 100% or just 100. Than you put the result as a numerator and the denominator
as 100. Simplify.
Example:
Convert .375 into a fraction.
multiply by a 100 to get a result of 37.5.
Put that over 100. ( As a Fraction ).
Simplify to either use your calculator or your smart brain to get 3/8.

Here's another example:
Lets work with an example, 1.2345
1. Take the decimal and start with the trivial case of 1.2345/1
2. Multiply top and bottome by 10 until the decimal point as moved to the right hand side.
12.345/10
123.45/100
1234.5/1000
12345/10000
3. Reduce the fraction by diving top and bottom by all the common divisors: HINT: any number like 10, 100, 1000 only has 2s and 5s as divisors!
12345/10000 has a common divisor, 5, so we get
2469/2000
Use a simple mnemonic, 'Dr.pepper' to get to a percent go two places to the right, to get to a decimal, go two places to the left:)

The first digit to the right of the decimal point is tenths, the second hundredths, the third thousandths, and so on. .772 = 772/1000 Since the numerator is even, divide both numerator and denominator by their highest common factor. 772 divided by 4 = 193 1000 divided by 4 = 250 .772 = 193/250
just divide the top number by the bottom one. Yes then after you see sometimes ther are 0's or 00's or even more those stand for (sometimes only) 0 = 10
00 = 100
000 = 1000 and so on and so forth sorry if im wrong im not pretty much of a wizard at math. ::))
Divide the numerator by the denominator. or....divide the top number by the bottom number. example..... 3/8 = .375 Divide 3 by 8=.375
You take the decimal and put it over 100 so here is an example .56 then put it over 100 56/100 and then simplify
You can easily convert fraction into decimal. This can be done by dividing the numerator by denominator.
