Let us take a simple even number that is 2 and a simple odd number that is 3.

According to the question if we add this two numbers it is not necessary that we will

get the sum as even.

as shown below

2+3=5;

From the above we can observe that we r not getting the result as even.Thus It is not

necessary that by adding an even and odd we will get the sum as even.
