Math is one of those classes where you just have to do the work until you really understand it. Making an A grade is a matter of working all of the problems, practicing and more practicing, and being sure you can do the work before the test. Do all of your homework, work all of the problems in the book, and ask for extra help if you need it.

In general, once you understand a process well enough to be able to solve problems at an almost 100 percent success rate, you can earn an A. A big hurdle is to understand that people do not always intuitively understand concepts immediately. There is a learning process comprised of explanation, examples and practice. Tutors or after school sessions can help you keep up from the beginning so you can build your skills.
