Not enough information! 2*1/2 = 1, which one do you want? 3*1/3 = 1, etc. (any number)*(1/that number) = 1!! If you don't want fractions, then there are only two possibilities, 1*1 = 1, and (-1)(-1) = 1. Maybe this is what you were looking for?
