3000 / 240 = Amps. You de-rate a breaker by 20 % for continuous load like an oven. You could get by with a 20 Amp breaker and 12 AWG wire. However, I would recommend 30 Amps and 10 AWG for an oven for the long run.

To calculate the current the equation is Watts divided by Volts.

3600 / Volts = Amps

The current should be less than or equal to 80% of the Breaker Size. For example a 30 amp breaker should carry no more than 24 amps continuously.

What size breaker should be used for a TNIA-10 wire?

The breaker size for a TNIA-10 wire depends on the maximum current carrying capacity of the wire, which is typically indicated on the wire's packaging or in its specifications sheet. You should select a breaker that is rated slightly higher than the wire's maximum current capacity to ensure safety and avoid overloading the wire. It is recommended to consult with a qualified electrician for specific guidance on breaker sizing for your installation.

What size amp circuit breaker should be used for 110 outlet?

The size breaker you use is determined by the size wire used in the circuit. If you use AWG #12/2 wire then use a 20 amp breaker. If you use AWG # 14/2 then use a 15 amp breaker.

What size breaker should be used for 1500 watt bathroom exhaust fan heater?

A 1500 watt bathroom exhaust fan heater should be connected to a 15 amp breaker to ensure proper protection against overloads. This is calculated by dividing the wattage (1500 watts) by the voltage (typically 120 volts for residential circuits) to determine the amperage (12.5 amps in this case, which you would round up to the nearest standard breaker size).

What are the standard size circuit breaker amperages?

In North America the standard sizes for breakers are 15, 20, 30, and 40 amps. The 15 amp size breaker is used in general circuit wiring. The 20 amp size breaker is used for dedicated appliance receptacles, hot water tank and baseboard heating. The 30 amp size breaker is used for a clothes dryer. The 40 amp size breaker is used for the electric range.

Use 15 amp breaker with 14 gage wire or 20 amp breaker with 12 gage wire. Either way will work just fine.

What size in amperage circuit breaker should be used for a pool pump?

The size of the circuit breaker for a pool pump should be determined by the pump's current draw. The breaker should be sized to accommodate the pump's full load amperage with a 125% safety margin. Most pool pumps typically require a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker.
