The most significant part of the equation is, what will be the maximum current draw? If it's to be a small current draw, for example 40 Amp service (40 amp breaker), you'll use 8AWG wire that's rated for direct burial. Higher current rating will require larger wire.
As always, if you have any questions about the proper wiring or how to connect electrical service, contact a local electrical contractor. Understand that improper wiring can result in fire and/or death.
Depends on the size of the sub-panel in that garage. If you are installing a 60 amp sub-panel 400 feet away from the main service panel then use AWG # 4.
A #2 copper conductor will limit the voltage drop to 3% or less when supplying 60 amps for 260 feet on a 220 volt system.
A 1/0 aluminum conductor will limit the voltage drop to 3% or less when supplying 30 amps for 500 feet on a 240 volt system.
I would use AWG #4 for that run in alluminum. You will have a 3.8% voltage drop which is acceptible.
Comcast will install the wiring for you. They do not allow homeowners to run their own wire because they lose quality control. Typically Comcast will run a 1 inch conduit for underground installations. The wire most commonly used it RG-6 quad. comcast doesnt install conduits anymore because it was just too costly so it is upto the homeowner to have have that installed by a general contractor and then comcast will have pull in the new line for you.
500 feet from a building or house!
As many feet as it takes to prevent the tree's roots from ruining any underground portion of the building and to prevent the trunk from growing into the structure.
You can use a LAN over internet software such as Hamachi.https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi2/

The question is not quite clear but if the angle of elevation is 26 degrees at a distance of 165 feet away from the building then its height is 80.47587711 feet. 165*tan(26) = 80.47587711 feet
Olive trees should be planted at least 20 feet away from a house to prevent potential damage to the foundation, walls, or underground pipes. This distance allows the tree roots to spread without impacting the structure of the house.
It's an oak tree, The reason I ask is that I will be building my house about 25 feet away from this tree and was worried about the roots.
Believe it or not, you are never more than six feet away from a spider. The only flaw in this answer is "how far are you from a spider in the winter? answered simply by, spiders lay eggs underground and die. Only to come out in the spring and make more spiders.
my question is how stupid are you?you can shoot an airsoft gun anywhere near a house from 1 inch to the middle of nowhere. however you have to be 500 feet from a building to shoot a real gun.
It varies depending on the building. In a house it could be 9 feet from floor to floor. In a building that requires a deeper floor structure and higher ceilings, it could be 10 - 12 feet or more.

It depends how many feet the One Story Building is.Then estimate it.
