A contactor is an electrically controlled switch (relay) used for switching a power circuit. an electro pneumatic contactor is similar to the above except it uses a pneumatic signal to initiate the switching of the electric power circuit. an electro magnetic contactor is a contactor driven by an electric control signal. It us usually just called a contactor.

a contactor works in the sae principle as a motor THE SIMPLE INDUCTION LAW this law is when you twist an isolated wire (a simple wire inwhich every where can be found) around a nail or any other metal and contact the wire ends to a supply (battery or a low voltage sac source like a transformer's) the nail works like a magnet the more twisted rounds of wire a better magnet also the more current.

a transformer,an indctor,a motor,a relay or maybe some other things yous this principle.

a contactor uses supply power to produce to magnets and what magnets do is pulling the other magnet this force two metal contacts to catch each other and the electrical current will flow.

the contactor is made of a coil some metal contacts and a base which I forget the English name and a body.each of these parts have their special equations to be manufactured.
