I wasn't sure what to do. Everyone's eyes were on me, I felt like I was burning. Pasco had his hand held out towards me, the white pills in the centre of his palm. I snatched them out of his hand and struggled to swallowed them whole.

Slowly I felt less tense, more relaxed. Sharp pains needled my heart. Falling short of breath I lay on the couch. The pains subsided. My eyes were finding it hard to stay still, they were jumping around the room but I wasn't taking in any of my surroundings.

It seemed like the music was pumping in my body. Like when the sound of the bass hit my ear drums my whole body was affected by it.

Was everyone looking at me? Did they think I was weird? At this point I was paranoid. Did they know I was paranoid? Were these the affects of the drugs?

I stumbled to my feet, feeling like my body was unfamiliar to me. My legs were feeling restless, they needed to move. I had an uncontrollable urge to dance. Making my way to the middle of the room I noticed how many people were there.

My senses were dull. When I brushed up against people it took a while to process the feeling, I could tell there was and odour around but was unable to recognize it.

Looking around the dark room, I saw faces, but no features. I was seeing the world in monochrome.

I had no room to move, I didn't have any room to breathe. I was forced to jump by the people around me. Bright flashes of light were hitting my eyes. My heart was stinging, beating twice as fast as it should. Black patches started to appear, everything became a blur.

I woke to a continuous beeping. When I opened my eyes they were stung by the sun. My body felt dead, I didn't have the energy for my eyes to adjust to the light. I took a long breath and turned over, my head was pounding. My name was said by a familiar voice, it was my mum. I wanted to ask her what happened, but my eyes started to shut.
