Verified answer

No.

If the lines are parallel they will never meet or intersect at any point.

If the lines are perpendicular they do intersect, but perpendicular lines are a special case of intersecting lines. Perpendicular lines are exactly 90 degrees from each other. Intersecting lines do not haveto be perpendicular... but perpendicular lines are always intersecting.

How are intersecting lines alike to perpendicular lines?

intersecting lines are alike because perpendicular lines have to intersect to be perpendicular. 2: They are the same because they touch another line so they are the same.

What is the difference formula for parallel and perpendicular lines?

parellel lines mean they are to lines the same

How are perpendicular lines like intersecting lines?

perpendicular lines are similar to intersecting lines because that's what they are. Intersecting lines are two lines that cross each other. Perpendicular lines are the same, two lines crossing each other, just with a more specific rule to have right angles.

Can the same two lines be parallel perpendicular and intersecting at the same time?

No.

What are two pairs of opposite angles of the same measures formed by two intersecting lines?

Parellel

Can two lines be perpendicular and intersecting in the same time?

Yes. "+"

Can the same two lines be perpendicularparalleland intersecting?

No, because although perpendicular and intersecting lines do touch, parallel lines never meet.

Can intersecting lines also be parellel?

No, parallel lines are defined as always being the same distance away from each other, or having the same slope.

Can perpendicular lines be intersecting lines?

In Euclidean plane geometry, two lines which are perpendicular not only can but must intersect. (I believe the same is true for elliptic geometry and hyperbolic geometry.)

Are the two intersecting lines parellel to the same line?

No, they can't be, if they intersect. This is because any two lines parallel to the same line are also parallel. And since they intersect, they aren't parallel.

What are lines in the same plane that never intersect and are always the same distance apart?

parellel lines

Are intersecting and perpendicuular lines the same?

No. "Intersecting" just mean that they cross. "Perpendicular" means, specifically, that they cross at a right angle. Actually, in the case of segments, they don't even need to cross to be "perpendicular", but the lines that contain them would cross at right angles.
