minor arc
The major axes of an ellipse is its longest diameter. The minor axes, on the other hand, is the shortest diameter.
The minor axis of a rectangular column or beam is the line that goes through the center. The minor axis will be shorter than the major axis.
It is: 72-lenghth of major arc = length of minor arc
The major axis is the axis that cuts, or goes between the two vertices of the hyperbola. The minor axis is perpendicular to the major axis and is an axis of symmetry. If the hyperbola is defined by: x^2/a^2 - y^2/b^2=1 where x^2 is x squared. Then the major axis is 2a units long, and the minor axis is 2b units long.

minor arc
An arc that measures less than a semicircle is called a minor arc. In a circle, a minor arc is defined as the shorter of the two arcs connecting two points on the circumference. It is less than 180 degrees in measure, while the corresponding longer arc is known as a major arc.
To determine the relative minor key of a given major key, you can find the minor key that shares the same key signature. For example, the relative minor of C major is A minor because they both have no sharps or flats in their key signatures.
The C minor equivalent of a given musical key is B major.
To find the parallel minor of a major key, you simply need to go down three half steps from the major key. For example, the parallel minor of C major is A minor.
To determine the relative major key of a given minor key, you can find the major key that shares the same key signature. For example, if a song is in the key of A minor, its relative major key is C major because they both have no sharps or flats in their key signatures.

The relative key is the one with the same key signature. For C major, it's A minor.
"That would be A minor. Go a minor third below the tonic of the major scale to find the relative minor." Technically, there is no relative harmonic major to the key of C Major. The relative minor scale of C Major would the natural minor scale of A. A harmonic minor scale raises the 7th note of the scale a half step, giving us G#, which is not in the key of C Major.
