Triangles are plane figures, so they don't have volume. To find THE AREA OF A TRIANGLE, multiply the length of its base by its height and divide by two. "Base": turn the triangle so one side is level to the ground, the bottom of the page, whatever; that side's the "base". "Height": measure straight up from the base to the opposite vertex (corner).
