assuming the wall and ground make a 90 degree angle with one another, Pythagorean's Theorem states the ladder will go 8 feet up the wall.
Using Pythagoras' theorem it is 30 feet
A better answer is to use the ocean that refers to sea level as a constant. Land cannot be considered. A telescope or binoculars would also be required. We are talking about the level of the earth dropping. Several buoys 6ft. in height set in the water at say 1/2 mile intervals, depending on the accuracy needed. A telescopic camera would be ideal This would be the best way to determine number of feet the earth drops from it's own curvature. Mr. Bill
If you are talking about finishing trim on half walls then most people opt for 42" or 48". If you mean finishing trim on a full wall that does not reach the ceiling then 1 foot below the ceiling is the usual. If you meant a decorative border then right below either of the other trims or at eye level.
1000 feet
I'm not certain that it matters just how tall you are, but at sea level I think the horizon is about 7 miles away.....
Same distance, assuming engine is working properly and oil level is good with no leaks.
There is a big difference between height and elevation. Height is how tall something is. Elevation is how far above sea level something is.
Assuming UK not US, 290 miles
I am at level 89 so far.....
280m
im assuming a 12 panel. since it covers just about every type of drug out there. the olympics are usually serious as far as i know and they wouldnt want to run the risk of embarssment for an entire country. entry level jobs use a 5 panel, courts use a 7 panel USUALLY, but im assuming as far as a global thing...itd be the expensive 12 panel screen
Assuming you mean the Miami in Florida, it's about 1250 miles.

Assuming you're staying in Maine, it's 28 miles.
Assuming you're in the UK, it's 276 miles.
