probably, 4. or maybe pi. i believe that the answer is 8.....:)))
A dodecagon has 12 sides, a nonagon has 9, and quadrilateral has 4, and a triangle has 3. So in 1 dodecagon, 2 nonagons, 1 quadrilateral, and 4 triangles there are 1*12 + 2*9 + 1*4 + 4*3 = 12 + 18 + 4 + 12 = 46 sides altogether.
A dodecagon has twelve vertices.
Place the dodecagons so that every third side of a dodecagon is adjacent to another. In the gaps that are formed insert four equilateral triangles so that these touch a pair of dodecagons. Finally, fill the gap between the triangles using a square.
A dodecagon is a 12 sided shape made from 10 triangles

you can basically draw an infinite amount of triangles in a dodecagon....

A doedecagon is 12 sided, I am not sure if it would be correct to say it consists of line segments, but if it is, then 12. There are also 35 distinct diagonals that can be drawn from the vertices and the dodecagon can be divided up into 8 triangles by drawing the diagonals.
There are two ways of doing it I'll tell you the easiest, you have to draw your dodecagon and then pick one specific corner and draw straight lines out to each of the other corners from this point and then Count how many triangles there are and times it by 180
