if the angle at a equals X

then the angle at b equals X+40

and the angle at c equals X+20

the sum of the angels in a triangle is 360 degrees so:

X + X+40 + X+20 = 360

3X + 60 = 360

3X = 300

X = 100.

What triangle has 57 degrees 88 degrees and 35 degrees?

It could be described as an acute triangle since each angle is less than 90 degrees. Each angle is different, and the same for length of sides, so this could also be called a scalene triangle. It's an acute scalene triangle.

Why is an obtuse triangle not regular?

The sum of the three interior angles of a triangle is 180 degrees. In a regular triangle, each angle is equal and so each must be 180/3 = 60 degrees. Since 60 is less than 90 degrees, the angle cannot be obtuse.

What is a triangle in which all three angles are acute?

it means each angle is less than 90 degrees

A triangle with three angles less than 90 degrees?

An infinite number of possibilities. An equilateral triangle, with each angle = 60 degrees is just one example.

What is an acute equilateral triangle?

An equilateral triangle must be acute because each angle is equal to 60 degrees. If all three angles are less than 90 degrees then a triangle is acute.

What triangle has one angle that measures 40 degrees one angle that measures 90 degrees and another angle that measures 50 degrees?

A right triangle is a triangle in which one angle is equal to 90 degrees and the remaing two angles are acute(ie., less than 90 degree). so this triangle is a right angle triangle.

Is an acute angle an equilateral triangle?

An equilateral triangle has 3 interior equal acute angles each measuring 60 degrees. In general an acute angle is greater than 0 but less than 90 degrees.

What is isosceles triangle degrees?

The two equal angles can be any angle less than 90 degrees, and the third angle can be any angle less than 180 degrees.

How is an acute triangle different from both an obtuse triangle and a right triangle?

An acute triangle has no angle of 90 degrees or more. A right triangle has one angle of 90 degrees; the other two are less than 90 degrees. An obtuse triangle has one angle between 90° and 180°; the other two are less than 90°.

Is a triangle convex or concave?

Three vertices polygons (aka triangle) can not be concave or convex because it doesn't have enough verticies to susustain an internal angle is less than or equal to 180 degrees. * * * * * Actually, a triangle IS a convex polygon. Convexity requires angle to be less than 180 degrees and since the three angles of a triangle sum to 180 degrees, each one of them MUST be less than 180 degrees!

A right angle triangle has one angle of 90?

Yes.The definition of every triangle-Right triangle---A triangle that has one right angle(90 degrees).-Obtuse triangle---A triangle that has one obtuse angle(greater than 90 degrees).-Acute triangle---A triangle that has all acute angles(less than 90 degrees).

Can a Right triangle also be acute?

No, because a right triangle has one angle which is 90 degrees, and the definition of an acute triangle says that each of the 3 angles of the triangles must be less than 90 degrees.
