What is the difference between first and third angle projection?

Any space can be divided into 4 quadrants basically using two mutually perpendicular planes - the horizontal plane(HP) and the vertical plane(VP). These planes are considered to be transparent and to be of infinite size. In first angle projections, the object is considered to be in front of VP and above HP. Hence the top view or plan of the object will be obtained below the reference line and the front view or elevation above the reference line. In third angle projections, the object is said to be behind VP and below HP. hence the top view or plan will be obtained above the reference line and the elevation below the reference line.

Does speaker of the house rise to presidency?

He (or she) is next in line after the VP. This is how Gerald Ford became president-- the President and VP both resigned. The above is a little misleading. The VP resigned and in accordance with the constitution, the president nominated Ford to be VP. He could have nominated anybody, but he knew that Ford was a popular member of the House and was likely to be confirmed. At this time nobody expected Nixon to resign. The above answer pertains to the extraordinary event where the president and vice-president both leave office or die at the same time, perhaps because of an enemy attack or terrorist plot and before a new VP can be put in place.

Who becomes the new vice president if both the current president and current vice president die in office?
