Any space can be divided into 4 quadrants basically using two mutually perpendicular planes - the horizontal plane(HP) and the vertical plane(VP). These planes are considered to be transparent and to be of infinite size. In first angle projections, the object is considered to be in front of VP and above HP. Hence the top view or plan of the object will be obtained below the reference line and the front view or elevation above the reference line. In third angle projections, the object is said to be behind VP and below HP. hence the top view or plan will be obtained above the reference line and the elevation below the reference line.
Receding line is a line that goes back to the vanishing point(VP). -.-
According to the 25th amendment whenever there is a vacancy in the office of VP the president shall nominate a vice president. This is then voted upon by both houses, a majority vote confirms.
George H.W. Bush was VP for both Reagan terms
VP = VL / √3 or VL = VP*√3. this will give you the values for a star connected system. If you using delta the VP = VL
The Speaker of the House is next in line after the VP.
In the line of succesion to the Presidency after the Vice President is the Speaker of the House.
He (or she) is next in line after the VP. This is how Gerald Ford became president-- the President and VP both resigned. The above is a little misleading. The VP resigned and in accordance with the constitution, the president nominated Ford to be VP. He could have nominated anybody, but he knew that Ford was a popular member of the House and was likely to be confirmed. At this time nobody expected Nixon to resign. The above answer pertains to the extraordinary event where the president and vice-president both leave office or die at the same time, perhaps because of an enemy attack or terrorist plot and before a new VP can be put in place.
If the VP dies first, the president would choose a new VP. If the president dies first,. the VP would become president and then would choose a new VP. If the president and VP both die at the same time, the Speaker of the House would become president and then he would choose a new VP.
The president would still be the president and he would appoint a new VP. We have had a "replacement" VP in the past. Vice President Agnew was asked to resign and Gerald Ford became VP.
If the presidency is vacancy. the VP becomes president and and new VP is promptly appointed . If the president and VP both die at once, the Speaker of the House becomes president.
Next in line after the VP is the Speaker of the House.
