Just as you can't ADD, SUBTRACT or CONVERT, for example, from meters to square meters and vice versa, you can't COMPARE them either. Just comparing the numbers doesn't make sense, since the numbers are quite arbitrary (they depend on the units used.As an example: a square of 1 meter x 1 meter has an area of 1 (square meter) and a perimeter of 4 (meters). But if you express the SAME square in millimeters, it has an area of 1000 x 1000 = 1 million (square millimeters), and a perimeter of 4000 (millimeters).
So, as you can see, there is no sensible way of comparing area and perimeter.
They are different measurements. Area is given in square units (centimetres, metres, feet or inches, etc). A perimeter is a linear measurement of the total length of the border.
It is not necessarily so.
2(length+breadth)=Perimetre Length= (Perimetre/2)-Breadth Area=Length x breadth
The area of a square that has a perimeter of 32m is: 64 m2
Yes it can but on some occasions the area can be more.

It depends. With a square with a side of 2, the perimeter is 8 while the area is 4. With a square with a side of 10, the perimeter is 40 while the area is 100. Usually, though, you'll find that the area is larger than the perimeter.

for explae if you draw a circle the perimeter is the linea you do anda the area y all the inside.
Canada is larger in area than the US by about 150,000 km2.
A square with a side length of 20 cm (80/4) has an area of 400 cm2
Russia and Canada are both larger than China in area.
One side equal to 6cm perimetre is 6*4=24cm
Yes by working out individual sections and then adding them altogether.
length plus width equals perimetre
