As a hexagon has six sides, it also has six angles. Three hundred sixty dgrees make a complete circle, so three hundred sixty degrees divided by six angles makes... sixty degrees each.

Oddly, if you draw six equilateral triangles with sides of equal length, and put them together, they will visually display to you what I explained above as a hexagonal shape.
