  • The Mobius Strip. It is a 3-Dimensional Object, that you can make with paper in your very own home, that has only 1 side, and 1 boundary. It is hard to describe, but it does exist. look for images or try it yourself!
  • While it is commonly believed that Circles and Spheres have only 1 side, they this is technically not true. A sphere has 2 sides, the inside and out. (Unless you are talking about a solid ball). A circle, is still under much debate, as the definition of "side" is not fully universal. Some would say a circle has one side, some would say it has an infinite number of sides, while still others believe it has no sides. The only TRUE one sided shape, is the Mobius Strip.

What quadrangle has only one side?

A quadrangle is any shape which has 4 angles. In order for an angle to exist, there needs to be two lines meeting at a point. If the shape is a polygon (a closed 2d shape) then 4 angles means it must also have 4 sides. Thus a quadrangle with only one side would be impossible.

How and why the moon change it shapes?

The Moon only seems to "change shape". We only see one side of the Moon from Earth. The variation in the amount of sunlight hitting that side of the Moon, as it orbits Earth, is why we see the apparent changes in shape. These changes are called "lunar phases".

Why does Vesta only have one number for its radius?

Vesta is round and its radius is only one number unlike other asteroids which have more of an oblong shape -like a potato- and so their radius is expressed for the long side and the short side.
