The Triangle Shirtwaste Fire occurred in what is now the NYU Chemistry Building. The fire is most notable for leading to a drastic change in workers rights. The fire began in the top floors and quickly spread. The workers (mainly women and girls that had recently immigrated) were locked inside of the building doing their jobs. As the fire took hold in the building, there were no viable exits or fire escapes by which to escape the fire, leading to many of the workers jumping out of the building to their deaths and many others being burned alive. As a result of the fire, legislation was passed to gain more rights for the workers of New York. * Doors that opened outward * Fire escapes that went to ground floor
A fire triangle consist of Fuel (Bushes), Heat (Fire) and Oxygen and the three combine creates a chemical chain reaction. In this case the fuel is removed so if there is nothing to burn you have no fire.

Oh, dude, the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire happened because of a combination of unsafe working conditions, like locked doors and flammable materials, and a lack of proper fire safety measures. It was like a perfect storm of negligence and disregard for worker safety. The tragic event served as a wake-up call for better labor laws and workplace safety standards.
The term "fire triangle", or combustion triangle, refers to the inherent principles in the methodology of making a fire. The "fire triangle" is a model for understanding the resources and methods needed to make a fire.
the fire dies because there is 1 thing taken out from the fire triangle. adding on the fire triangle is a triangle in which u see the things needed for a fire to urn !!
Sprinklers in a factory remove heat from the fire triangle.
The three points in the fire triangle are fuel, heat and oxygen. To stop a fire you need to take one of those elements away from the triangle :)
The triangle of fire is a graphical representation of the three elements needed for a fire: heat, fuel, and oxygen.See the related links, below, for an illustrated explanation of the fire triangle. The fire triangle is made up of oxygen, fuel and heat.
The Triangle Shirtwaist Fire was started on the eighth floor. The Triangle Shirtwaist Fire killed many workers and was a sign of the horrible working conditions of the time.
The sides of the fire triangle are: Oxygen, heat and fuel. Reduce or remove any one of these and you control or extinguish the fire.
