A composite figure is a figure that is made up of several smaller geometric figures like triangles, circles, or rectangles.
a cube. a square is also classified as a rectangle and a cube is made up of six squares.
Any kind of triangle can be made in a rectangle.
A cylinder
If you cut a rectangle in half you wouldn't get a solid figure at all, since a rectangle is a plane figure. If you made a straight line cut you would get either a triangle or a quadrilateral of some variety depending on exactly how the cut was made.
Circles and rectangles are plane (2-dimensional) figures, so it doesn't seem that they can be used to construct solids.
circle based rectangle
no, a sphere is a ball.
...a cylinder...
A polyhedron is a 3 dimensional figure made of polygons. A cylinder is made of two circles and a rectangle around the middle. Since circles are not considered polygons (don't have straight edges), a cylinder cannot be a polyhedron. I just had a discussion about this with my math students today.
A 3D shape that can be created using one rectangle and two circles is a cylinder with a rectangular base. The rectangle forms the side of the cylinder, while the two circles can serve as the top and bottom faces. When the rectangle is wrapped around, it connects the edges of the circles, forming a closed cylindrical shape.

There is no solid figure with only four edges. The smallest solid figure is the tetrahedron, made up of four triangular faces, but it has six edges.
