on increasing speeds the centrifugal force increases and slips the car out of its circular path.outer banks of roads are made higher so as to give and help the centripetal force to keep the car on track.

stated in another aspect on increasing speeds and while taking turns the inertia of the car tends to take the car out of its path so we make the outer banks higher to counteract this inertia and give the car a margin to keep it track.

Why the outer edge of a road is kept higher than the inner edge at a turn?

On a sharp bend, the centrifugal force could force a speeding vehicle to leave the road, or fall over, on the outside of the bend. A higher outer edge to the bend lessens this effect.

Why must the outer conductor be separated from the inner one when using coaxial cable?

No signals can pass along a coaxial cable if the outer conductor is not kept electrically separate from the inner one. Along the entire length of the cable the inner conduuctor and outer shield must never be connected together anywhere because, if they get joined together, the signals will be shorted-out.

Why is the outer bank of the road kept slightly higher than the inner bank?

while taking turn on the road,a car moves in a circular path to keep the car moving along the circular path, centripetal force is required. in the absence of this force, the car will skid off the road to the outer size of the road and may possibly turn turtle due to inertia .the force of friction between the tires and roads provides the necessary centripetal force and keeps the car moving on the curved path.
