In a country with zero population growth, you would expect to find a stable population size where the number of births equals the number of deaths. This would mean the population is not increasing or decreasing over time.
If the population growth rate becomes zero the population size becomes static. It stays where it was when it became zero until the rate changes. If the rate becomes negative the population would begin to shrink.
On a graph of population growth the size of the population when the growth rate decreases to zero represents an area's carrying capacity.
Zero population growth is a sign of a low birthrate. Other factors that affect population growth include a stagnant Death Rate and a low mortality age.
i have zero idea
Zero population growth would have far reaching concequences. In overpopulated areas limiting population growth can reduce the strain on resources. Zero population growth indicates the number of people dying is equal to the number of people being born. However zero population growth would mean an ageing population, with less income being generated in years to come from income tax etc. as most of the workforce will be older. Socially this would represent a huge problem eventually. This would have negative effects on the wealth of the country in the long term. In the short term this would indicate more of a stagnate economy and inflation rate. In terms of family, zero population growth within a family means the family will become extinct at the end of the lifecycle of the current generation. In terms of environment this would perhaps be a positive outcome as there would be less of a strain on natural resources. It is an economic catch 22 as an economy will not flourish financially without an increase in population, however if it does, there will be a decline in resources.
It means the population is not growing or declining.
Is Zero Young Population Growth , because the cost of their lifes increase a lot
well when you think about it you can stop cheating and look at a book for once....
ZPG would help ensure saving resources for future generations.
A country with zero population growth is Japan. Japan's birth rate has been declining and its population is aging, leading to an overall stagnant population growth rate.
