The gap should be listed on the emissions sticker under the hood. My Hatnes manual says the 4.3 v6 gap is .035, and the plug is a Champion RV15YC or equivalent. My 1992 4.3 Tbi is .045 and my 1997 4.3 Vortec is .045
If that is supposed to be .045, the answer is: 4.5 x 10-2 If it is supposed to be 0.45, the answer is 4.5 x 10-1
