Te equation -15 = 1/5x can be solved to find the value of X which is -75.
If: 1/3-1/5x = 15 then x work out as -3/220
Given: 15x - 20y = -1 15y = 2 + 5x Then: 15x -20(2 + 5x)/15 = -1 ∴15x -40/15 - 100x/15 = -15/15 ∴225x/15 - 100x/15 = 40/15 - 15/15 ∴125x = 25 ∴x = 1/5 Check: 15(1/5) - 20(1/5) = -1 ∴3 - 4 = -1 ∴-1 = -1
If y equals 5x-15 and x equals 1 then the value of y comes out to be -10. So y equals 5x-15 is -10.
5x2+14x-3 -15. 15*-15x2-x+15x-3[5xx x] [3*5x 3]x(5x-1)+3(5x-3)Answer: (5x-1)(x+3)
5x-1+2= 5x+1
5x - 1 = 24 5x - 1 + 1 = 24 + 1 5x = 25 5x/5 = 25/5 x = 5
10
5
5x+1=20 5x=20-1 5x=19 5x/5=19/5 x=19/5
4 + 5x = 1 5x = 1 - 4 5x = -3 x = -3/5 x = -0.6
y = 5x + 1 y - 1 = 5x (y - 1) / 5 = x
I'm not sure if, for example, "15x3" is 15 times 3 or 15x^3. However, I can answer both questions.(15 times 3) - (20 times 2) - 5x --> 45 - 40 - 5x --> 5 - 5x. A "5" can be factored out, which will then lead to the result 5(1-x) or -5(x-1)15x^3 - 20x^2 - 5x --> 5x(3x^2 - 4x - 1) --> I think this is the farthest it can be factored. Unless you find a way to get any two numbers to be able to multiply to the number -3x^2 and add to the number -4x.
