a to the b power means b lots of a, all multiplied together. Thus 5 to the 5 power or 55 is 5x5x5x5x5, and 5 to the 3 power, or 53 is 5x5x5. Thus the question can be written as 5x5x5x5x5x4x5x5x5x6. This is now a simple calculation that comes out at 9,375,000. Thus 5 to the 5 power times 4 times 5 to the 3 power times 6 is 9,375,000.
It is correct only for the first one. The second one should be 3 to the power 2 times 2 times 5.
5 to the 7th power
5 times by 10 to the power of 3 in standard notation = 5,000
5 to the power of 8.
5 to the 12 power.
8 x 9 x 5 and 4 x 3 x 25 360 and 300 The GCF is 60.
m3*m5 = m3+5 = m8
Evaluate simply means work out. You times the first number by itself. The second number which is is small and beside the top corner of the first number decides how many times the first number gets times by itself. Here are 4 examples: 2 to the power of 4 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2= 16 3 to the power of 3 = 3 x 3 x 3= 27 4 to the power of 3= 4 x 4 x 4= 64 5 to the power of 5 = 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5= 3125
(3x3)^4 = 6561 3x(3^4) = 3^5 = 241
35 = the exponent 5 indicates the number of times 3 should be multiplied to itself. So it's 3x3x3x3x3 = 35
5(23)+17-3(2)= 51.
3 cubed or 3 to the third power means to multiply the base (3) by itself 3 times. When people refer to cubes thry are referring to the 3 power of something. When people refer to squares they may be referring to the 2nd power of something. Also, 3 cubed=27. 3 times 3 times 3. it's exponents. you have a number, and then a smaller number above it. you multipy the bigger number by itself that many times. say if i had 3 to the power of 5. that means 3 times 3 times 3 times 3 times 3. Hope I helped! :) -Brooklyn
5 to the power of 2
I'll assume that's 11, 1 isn't a prime number. 3 x 3 x 5 x 11 = 495
Two to the fourth power times 5 to the fourth power equals 10,000
3 times 3 times 5 times 5. Or.... 3 squared times 5 squared.
