Valerie is installing a 20ft by 12ft swimming pool surrounded by a 6ft deck. What is the total area of the deck?
I think area= length times width
acre is area length x width so it depends on the length as to how wide it is
if you are trying to find the area then: width=x length=y y=3+x xy=area 3+x*x=area
put two together to make a square then find the area of that then divide it by 2 -OR- Multiply how tall the triangle is by how wide it is. Ex. If the LENGTH (how tall it is) is 6, and the WIDTH (how wide it is) is 4, then your area is 24.
Valerie is installing a 20ft by 12ft swimming pool surrounded by a 6ft deck. What is the total area of the deck?
20ft long and 5ft wide!
I think area= length times width
acre is area length x width so it depends on the length as to how wide it is
An area with these dimensions (20' by 1,760') would equate to 0.8 acre.
if you are trying to find the area then: width=x length=y y=3+x xy=area 3+x*x=area
area = length x width = 20 x 15 = 300 sq cm
The area of rectangle is : 30.0
put two together to make a square then find the area of that then divide it by 2 -OR- Multiply how tall the triangle is by how wide it is. Ex. If the LENGTH (how tall it is) is 6, and the WIDTH (how wide it is) is 4, then your area is 24.
20ft long by 11ft wide
You would find the area by multiplying the width by the length, so the area would be 216 square feet.
Simple. 7x4=28cm. or Length X Width= Area
