That surely varies a lot from one person to another. If you assume that you walk an hour a day, and you don't walk particularly fast, you might walk 5 km per hour, and therefore 5 km per day. That would be roughly 1800 km per year. (Rounding is appropiate here, since we don't have very accurate figures to begin with. Perhaps I better round it to 2000 km/year.)

If you estimate that you walk 1/2 an hour a day, or 2 hours a day, you can scale the results accordingly.
