In general, a trapezoid is bigger. This is because you can look at a trapezoid as a square with two half-triangles attached to the end. While a square, only has a square part. With this said however, make sure you check the side lengths to make sure they are comparable.
Square = parallelogram and a square trapezoid = trapezoid Parallelogram = Parallelogram
a trapezoid is slanted and a square is not
A rectangle
weird
It could look a little like a dress if 2D. This is also if the square is on top of the trapezoid.
Look at the amazing four-sided trapezoid! That 'square' is not square, it is a trapezoid.
A trapezoid and parallelogram are both quadrilaterals. Their top and bottoms are parallel. In a parallelogram, all four sides are parallel making it look like a rectangle that was pushed on an angle. The trapezoid is more like the shape of an "A" with a square top.
Square, Rectangle, Rhombus, trapezoid, kite, Parallelogram. Unfortunately I can not draw them here.
Trapezoid is not a parallelogram. it has only 1 pair of parallel sides, while a square has 2.

A square can't be a trapezoid because it has two parellel sizes.
