Could the average of three numbers be ond of those three numbers?

Absolutely! There are many, many other examples but the most obvious is any three consecutive numbers - take 7, 8 & 9. To find the average we add them up (24) and divide by 3 = 8. In fact, as long as the "distance" between the 1st and 2nd number is the same as between the 2nd & 3rd number, the average will always equal the 2nd number.

Can the average of three numbers be one of those numbers?

Yes. For example, the average of 9, 10, and 11 is 10. 9 + 10 + 11 = 30 30 / 3 = 10

What are three consecutive numbers that add up to 66?

The average of three numbers which sum to 66 is 66/3 = 22. If 22 is the sum of three consecutive integers, then those three integers are 21,22,23. Kermit Rose

What is the average of 5000 and 7000?

To calculate the average of two numbers, add them together, and divide the result by 2. (For the average of three numbers, you add up the three numbers, and divide by three, etc.) The average is (5000 + 7000)/2 = 6000

How do you work out averages on a calculator?

I honestly don't know how to work out averages on a calculator, but I do know to get a average you need to add up all the numbers and then divide by how many there are .. maybe that's what your looking for. In this example we will say there are three numbers 1,2,3 you add all those numbers up (1,2,3) and then you divide by three since there are three numbers and then that's your average. Example: 1+2+3/3 (One plus two plus three divided by three)

What is the average of the numbers 6 7 and 8?

Oh, what a lovely question! To find the average of those numbers, you simply add them all together and then divide by how many numbers there are. So, for 6, 7, and 8, you would add them (6 + 7 + 8 = 21) and then divide by 3 (since there are 3 numbers), giving you an average of 7.
