yes in fact they do! if they are pointed away from each other then if you make a longer line you will see they intersect! same with if they are coming towards each other.
Hope this helps!
if they are parallel -- no. if not parallel -- yes
No, never. Parallel lines are line that will NEVER intersect.
Coplanar lines that don't intersect are parallel. Lines that are not parallel and do not intersect are skew lines.
Parallel lines in the Euclidean plane do not intersect but all parallel lines in the projective plane intersect at the point at infinity.
parallel ============================================= Parallel. _____________________ _____________________ Those two lines will NEVER intersect.
No, parallel lines cannot ever intersect. The have identical slopes. Therefore, they will always remain parallel.
if they are parallel -- no. if not parallel -- yes
Perpendicular lines intersect at a 90 degree angle. Parallel lines do not intersect, nor would they ever intersect if continued infinitely.
No they cannot. If they were to intersect they wouldn't be known as parallel lines.
Never in Euclidean geometry.
parallel ============================================= Parallel. _____________________ _____________________ Those two lines will NEVER intersect.
Well, you see, parallel lines are lines that do not and will not ever intersect at any length of the line
I do not think lines can intersect if they are truly parallel.
parallel lines never intersect.
