Because 96 and older cars have [OBD 1 , ON Board Diagnostic] computers which only output faults with no real time data like newer OBD 2 ecu computers.
The IAT sensor, or intake air temperature sensor, is located on the tubing the of intake on a 1991 Acura Integra. This sensor reports the temperature of air coming into the engine directly to the ECU.
To get more power out of an inline six engine, you can start by upgrading the intake and exhaust systems to improve airflow, which enhances combustion efficiency. Adding a performance chip or ECU tune can optimize fuel mapping and ignition timing for increased power output. Consider installing a turbocharger or supercharger for forced induction, which significantly boosts power by forcing more air into the engine. Finally, improving internal components like pistons, camshafts, and valves can help the engine handle increased power and efficiency.
Look at every building around you. they were all developed with the use of calculus. The pipes that carry the water that comes out of the tap; the wires that carry the electricity flowing into your computer right now; the computer itself. All involved calculus of some kind at some point in their design, development, creations, testing and implementation as usuable technologes. The television, the cellular phone, the engine in your car. All of these and many many hundreds of other devices and objects in everyday life were developed and thought through, and are controlled by, calculus in some form (whether it is a complex algorithm program in the ECU or a simple recursive heuristic on a simple circuit board).
This is really hard to answer because of all the ups and downs of the forex market. Truthfully we were always sitting pretty most of those years until now. I'm not even sure the euro existed back in 1990. I'm pretty sure if you do some research that you'll find the euro was dependant on the EU (European union). Countries like Germany would have really been using the Mark still vs the unheard of Euro. What we are seeing in Europe can be us in some years with Canada and Mexico. That's pretty scary! Goodbye sovernty!Qoute Wiki:- The euro was introduced to world financial markets as an accounting currency in 1999 and launched as physical coins and banknotes on 1 January 2002. I was in china a few years ago and now the rise of the Yuan has it at 6.866. It would have been an impressive time to invest in this currency. I only wonder how much more the Government will allow it to go up because they had a personal interest at pegging it for manufacturing. Maybe it's because the inflation will do good for this time they have the Olympics but I can only speculate as I've not heard much more news on it than that.... (like I'd believe it if I heard it anyway)
No. Anytime you swap ecu's make sure the numbers match and if you have the anti thief ignition or key with diode you will need to have the ecu reprogramed by a lock smith or dealer to get the car to start.
93 and 94 as long as the bold black numbers match the one that's in your car.
the last 4 numbers
Very easy to replace, but you have to match numbers under hood by engine bay, then when you replace it, you have to get it programmed at dealership or it still wont work! but replacing it is the easy part. Good luck!
Any auto parts store should be able to locate one by using the application. The new/reconditioned ECU may have to be "flashed" to match your vehicle before you install it. The auto parts store will help you with this.
The main chip of a 1995 Honda Civic is found inside the ECU. The chip is clipped on, on the upper left side of the ECU.
To connect a wire harness to a P28 ECU, you need to match the corresponding wires from the harness to the correct pins on the ECU connector. Use a wiring diagram to ensure proper connections based on the signals you need to send and receive. It's crucial to double-check your connections to avoid damaging the ECU or other components.
well i had that problem with my integra, all i did was change the ecu to a single cam si ecu (PM6) or another ls ecu (Pr4) that should fix the problem
the part numbers should be on a sticker on top of the unit itself
What about the ecu?
The ECU part for this car runs $150 to $300. To replace it, it can run the cost up another $100 to $200 if a person does the replacement at a shop.
