i just replace my 6x9s (rear speakers) the screws were covered by the back seats which i had to take completely out, also there are covers above the rear suspension just behind the back seats that allow access, there was a screw there as well. as far as the door panels there is a small screw behind the door handle and one that is covered by the dash when the door is closed and one more that is on the other side of the door just below the window. the rest is just popping off the panels.

The interior front door panel of a 4-door is attached to the door with two screws in the arm rest, three at the bottom of the panel, one at the edge nearest the door latch, and one in a separate plastic panel near the outside mirror. Remove the screws using a Phillips screw driver, then gently pull on the panel to remove it. After loosening the panel there is an electrical connector to unplug (with electric door locks) before the panel can be completely removed from the door. Removing rear door panels or the panels on 2-door Cavaliers should be similar.
