1/24th of the radius of the earth Ignoring the small effect of the orbital motion of the moon itself, and considering only the effect of the earth's daily rotation of 360 degrees in 24 hours, the moon apparently does about 360 degrees/24hours, or 15 degrees per hour. The moon's angular diameter is close to half a degree so the distance travelled in 1 hour is about 30 times its diameter. The moon in its orbit goes around the earth in about 30 days, that's about 1/2 degree per hour, about 1 diameter, so about 29 times its diameter per hour across the sky is probably closer.
Pi, of course, is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. This number is just slightly over three, and is irrational (it never repeats or terminates). There are various formulas for deriving pi. You can even obtain an excellent approximation by dropping a pin on a floor of evenly spaced parallel lines. See the associated link for some of the formulas. Note: Machin's formula (using inverse tangents of unit fractions) is calculated in radians. In this respect it is, in effect, a definition of pi in terms of itself. Nevertheless it is a most curious relationship.π/4 = 4tan-1(1/5) - tan-1(1/239)More curious yet is the incredible relationship between pi and the natural log e:eπi = -1, where i is the imaginary square root of -1. i2 = -1.
Potential height depend on your genetics. The half and half to make a whole set genes you receive from your parents. Basing on how tall your father and mother are will not give you the precise answer that will result later. You may gather an idea on how you will be by looking at them. Factors such as nutrition and physical activity will effect your development. One way to can increase your height as you are growing is by frequently playing basketball. It has been proven that if you are physical active in playing basketball and eat well, having a balance meal, as you grow from childhood to adulthood, ages 10 to 18, you will stretch well.

In the term 'cause and effect', the words 'cause' and 'effect' are nouns, joined by the conjunction 'and'; they are singular, common, abstract nouns. The term 'cause and effect' can be used as a compound subject of a sentence or clause and the compound object of a verb or a preposition. Examples:The cause and effect are obvious in retrospect. You must consider the cause and effect before you decide to act.The word cause is also a verb: cause, causes, causing, caused. The word effect is also a verb: effect, effects, effecting, effected.

When a circle's diameter is dilated by a scale factor of 0.6, the new diameter will be 0.6 times the original diameter. Since the circumference of a circle is directly proportional to its diameter by the formula C = πd, where C is the circumference and d is the diameter, the new circumference will also be 0.6 times the original circumference. Therefore, the effect of dilating the diameter by a scale factor of 0.6 will be a decrease in the circle's circumference by 40%.
this is because rubber is flexable and it holds the air tightly so that no air can come out when it bounces
The leather is put on the basketball for grip, wear and tear, and consistency. The bounce of the ball comes from the rubber bladder that the leather is surrounding. Air pressure and the quality of the ball effect it's bounce more than the leather.
Depends on a lot of factors. Climate can effect how long a basketball holds its bounce. Really cold weather (below 50) will cause a basketball to loose it's bounce rather quickly. If stored at room temperature, a basketball should hold its bounce for around 3-6 months.
The floor type does effect the bounce on a basketball due to the kinetic energy absorbed by the floor that is why it is easier to bounce a ball higher on a basketball court than it is say on tiles and carpet court.its a godd science experiment
To find the circumference of a circle, multiply the diameter by Pi. Pi is written as 3.14 or just use the Pi button on a calculator. You could also write something to the effect of 3pi.
== == This is because of air's tendency to become more dense when it is cold. This happens because air molecules, when cold, move slowly and close together while air molecules, when warm, move fast and farther apart.
if it is rough it will bounce lower and it is smooth it will bounce higher
I don't believe so. Think of a basketball and a super ball. (I know, this is for example) Both of them bounce super high, and a baseball doesn't bounce. I think it depends on the air inside of it and not the size. Basketballs have air, super balls too, footballs bounce a little also.
