It depends on the context. For instance if I ask, "I have 3 apples, how many more will it take to make 7?" the best way to get to the answer would be to subtract what you already have (3) from the target amount (7). Or you could add one at a time until you get 7. Either way, you get 4 as the answer.
Normally, this would imply adding, but if you already have the answer and need to find the other value to get there, then you must subtract.
"How much ... all together ?" usually means add. "How much ... left ?" usually means subtract.
Subtract.
so you see, first you multiply 5 and 6 then subtract 15 add 2 more and subtract 17 byee
To find out how much more 76.89 is than 36.33, subtract 36.33 from 76.89. The calculation is 76.89 - 36.33 = 40.56. Therefore, 76.89 is 40.56 more than 36.33.
To find out how much 7p is more than 3p, subtract 3p from 7p. This gives you 7p - 3p = 4p. Therefore, 7p is 4p more than 3p.
How much more means to subtract. For example, "How much more is 9 than 3?". The answer would be 9-3 which is 6.
"How much ... all together ?" usually means add. "How much ... left ?" usually means subtract.
The word (difference) in the question is indicating that you need to subtract. In a math operation, when you see the words difference, how much more, or exceed these all mean you need to subtract.
the more good things..the better it is!!

In actuality, the original phrase is "one nation indivisible", which makes much more sense. When the "under God" was added in the 1950's, it split the phrase apart, which I find ironic.
Well if your doing math much like how much means add and if it says how much more it means subtract:)
This phrase suggests that as someone learns more, they become aware of how much they still don't know. It reflects a sense of humility and the recognition that knowledge is vast and constantly expanding.
"How much?" means "what amount?". For example: "How much bread do you want?" means "what amount of bread do you want?" "How much is this item?" when asked in a shop, might mean "how much money does this cost?"
