Area = vertical height x base

Be certain it's the vertical height and not the length of one of the edges you're using.

If you have the lengths of 2 sides and the angle between them, you can use this formula:

Area = xy * sin A

Just multiply the two lengths together and multiply that by the sine of the angle between them.
