ā 14y agox2 + 7x - 5 = 0 has no solution in integers. To find the roots the formula is:
-b +/- sqrt(b2 - 4ac) all over 2a. In your equation a = 1, b = 7 and c = -5
= (-7 +/- sqrt(49 + 20))/2
= (-7 +/- Sqrt 69)/2
= (-7 +/- 8.307)/2
= 1.307/2 or -15.307/2
= 0.653 or -7.653, both of which check out within three-thousandths when you use them as x in the original equation
