I've used maths to work out whether two 9" pizzas for £9.99 would be better value than one 12" Pizza for £6.99.

One 12" pizza has a radius of 6", and an area of pi * 6 * 6 in^2 = pi * 36 in^2. So the price per in^2 is £6.99 / (36 * pi) = £0.194 / pi.
So the 12" pizza costs less per square inch than the two 9" pizzas. But it may not be as simple as this. If you really like the crust it might be slightly better to get 2 9" pizzas.
