You find the least common denominator and then you see how many times the denominator of the actual fraction goes into it, then you multiply that by how many times it goes into the least common denominator, then you just do it for the other fraction as well, example:
6/9+3/7= The least common denominator is 56 bcuz 9 and 7 dont go into eachother, then you find how many times 9 goes into 56: which is 7 so you multiply it by 6 and you have 56/56= 1 whole, so thats the first fraction and you do the same thing to the next

Take the denominator (bottom # of fraction) and multiply it by the whole number. Then, add that # to the neumorator (top # of fraction) . Put the total number over the original denominator.
well, to convert a fraction as a percent divide the top number by the bottom number, then multiply the result by 100and add the percentage sign (%)
The number on the top of a fraction is called the numerator. The number on the bottom is the denominator.
There is no whole number in a fraction. A fraction is a little number on top and another little number on the bottom. The numerator is the little number on top.
The number on the top of a fraction is called a numerator, the number on the bottom is the denominator.
Multiply the bottom by the whole number...and then add THAT number by the top number, hope this is what you're looking for!
Top number in a fraction is the numerator.
To convert a fraction into a decimal number, divide the numerator (top number) of the fraction by the denominator (lower number) and add the decimal. Ex: 3/8 = 3 ÷ 8 = .375
To convert a mixed number to an improper fraction multiply the whole number by the bottom number of the fraction (the denominator) and add the top number of the fraction (the numerator) and put this as the top number over the original bottom number: 21/4 = (2 x 4 + 1)/4 = 9/4

A proper fraction is a fraction that has a top number less than its bottom number.
Say your fraction is 6 3/8. 6x8+3= 51. you see? whole number times denominator (the bottom number in a fraction), then add that number (48) to the numerator (the top number) and there's your answer. and actually, its not simple fraction, its a mixed number...If that's what you talking about
To add two (or more) fractions together:Find a common denominator (bottom number) by multiplying both the numerator (top number) and the denominator as necessary.Add the numerators together, over the same denominator.Simplify the fraction, if need be, or for ease.
The name of a fraction with a larger number on top is called an improper fraction.
