84 is already a simple number to divide. Do you mean "factorize"? : first try dividing by 2. If that works try another 2 until it doesn't divide. Then try 3 and follow the same rule. 4 is pointless since the divides by 2 would have dealt with that. Then try 5. 6 is covered by 2 and 3, then 7 etc etc.
