actually, i don't think that's possible. As a fraction, 0.4 would be 4/10 (four tenths) but in order for it to be a mixed number, it would have to be more than 1. for example, 1.4 would be 1 and 4/10. So, I don't think it's really possible...

I agree with the previous answer but, I suppose if you MUST, you could write it as 0 4/10 or, equivalently, 0 2/5. A totally pointless exercise, in my view.
