I'm pretty sure that it equals 158 ft tall.I did 156 squared (24,336) plus 20 squared (400) and then subtracted the original amount of 156 and 20, I got 136. Then I added the 136 to my 24,736 and got 24,872. Finally I square rooted 24,872 and got 157.70 and rounded to 158. Hope that this helps you.

What is the angle of elevation from the top of a bluilding from a point 165 feet away from the building on ground level is 26 degrees what is the height of the building?

The question is not quite clear but if the angle of elevation is 26 degrees at a distance of 165 feet away from the building then its height is 80.47587711 feet. 165*tan(26) = 80.47587711 feet

What is the height of a hill when the distance between its angles of elevation which are 20.92 degrees and 31 degrees on level ground is 110 meters?

Using trigonometry the height of the hill works out as 115.58 meters rounded to two decimal places

What is the first piece of information you must have when trying to determine an elevation?

The first piece of information you need to determine elevation is the reference point or datum. This serves as the starting point for measuring height above or below a specific level, such as sea level or ground level.

What is the height of a tower if its angles of elevation are 15 degrees and 10 degrees at 50 meters apart on level ground?

By drawing a rough sketch of the given information and then using trigonometry the height of the tower works out as 25.8 meters rounded to the nearest tenth.

What is the height of a moutain when the distance between its angles of elevation which are 16.6 degrees and 22.3 degrees is 500 meters on level ground?

By drawing a sketch from the given information and then using trigonometry the height of the mountain works out as 546 meters rounded to the nearest whole number.

What is the height of a moutain when from the top of a tower which is 180 meters high the angle of elevation is 25.3 degrees and its bottom angle of elevation is 26.42 degrees?

Using the sine rules in trigonometry the height of the mountain works out as 3704 meters in height to the nearest whole number.

When is the shadow equal in length to your height?

When the angle of elevation equals 45 degrees. tan-1(1) = 45 degrees.

Starting point for elevation?

The starting point for elevation is typically referred to as the base or ground level. This is the point from which the measurement of elevation or height above sea level begins.

What is the height of a mountain when from the bottom of a tower 180 meters in height the angle of elevation is 26.42 degrees and from its top the angle of elevation is 25.3 degrees?

By drawing a sketch from the given information then using triangulation and trigonometry the height of the mountain works out as 3704.435 meters rounded to three decimal places.

What are the 3 things that can be determined by topography?

Topography can determine the elevation, slope, and relief of a landscape. Elevation refers to the height above sea level, slope indicates the steepness of the land surface, and relief is the variation in height within a specific area.
