I got my splits down in a week. You go as far down as you can by facing the floor until it hurts. Hold for 3 minutes or less. Try holding for at least 10 minutes (at different times) a day. It really helps if you kind of hold a plank with your elbows on the floor. Don't push yourself too hard, but try! Good luck!
