Here is how to do a 100 precent:

1. If you have a decimal of, lets say, .3
2. multiply it by 100
3. your answer should be 30%
4. Another thing
5. if you have .03 that is 3% (.03 X 100 is 3=3%)

1. when you have a problem of, 30% of 285 forsay
2. first, turn 30% into a decimal (.3)
3. then multiply it by 285
4. TA-DA you get 85.5
