∙ 13y agoWith the area of the base known, you can back figure to the radius. But unless you know the cylinder's volume, or are told that it's height is equal to the radius or diameter or circumference of the base, there's no way to find the height short of measuring it. To find the radius, you take the area of the base and divide it by pi. The resulting dividend is r2. Find the square root of the dividend, and you have the radius.

If the volume of a cylinder is 300 and the height is 3, the radius of the base is: 5.65
Yes. The base area is also related to the base radius by:A = radius2 x Pi
The curved surface area is 201.06 units2
Cylinder volume = height 10 cm > radius 7 cm > base area of the cylinder = 153.9380400 cm2 Volume = base area x height = 1539.380400 cm 2
A right cylinder having a base radius of 12mm and a height of 60mm has a lateral area of approximately 4523.89mm2
A cylinder with a radius of 5 centimeters and height of 9 centimeters
Total surface area = 2*pi*r*(r + h) where r is the base radius and h the height.
V=Bh volume=area of the base * height area of the base= pie * radius squared
188.4 cm2

find the radius using base area. substitute the radius value in CSA and fine the height. finally substitute radius and height in volume of cylinder formula and find the volume of the cylinder.. Ans:308 cu.cm.
The radius of the base of the cylinder is: 5.64 cm
I'm assuming you are asking about a cylinder. The volume of a cylinder is the area of the base times the height. The base is a circle so its area is pi*r^2. We get V=height*pi*radius*radius = 8*pi*3*3 = 72*pi which is about 226.195
If the volume of a cylinder is 300 and the height is 3, the radius of the base is: 5.65
A mug in the shape of a cylinder has base with a radius of 4 cm How many milliliters of liquid does it hold if filled to height of 9 cm? Volume of a cylinder = area of base * height Base is a circle Area of a circle = π * radius squared The radius = 4 cm Area = 3.14 * r * r = ____ square cm Area = 3.14 * ___ * ___ = ____ square cm Volume of a cylinder = area of base * height You know area of the base and the height = 9 cm. Volume of a cylinder = ______ * _____ = _____ cubic cm 1 cubic cm = 1 milliliter 150 cubic cm = 150 milliliter Answer ≈ 450-455 ml
