Halve the triangle and square the base and the height. e.g the base is 14cm and the height is 45cm.

You would need to square 14 and 45 and add them together.

you would get 2221cm.

After you got that answer, square rout it which would give you 47.13.

Now go try it with the problem that you have.

Good lUck and have a good day.

How do you find the slope of a line on a xy coordinate plane?

Form a right angle triangle under the slope and divide the base of the triangle into the height of the triangle.

How do you find the base of a triangle if you know height and slope?

You cannot since the information is not sufficient. Furthermore, a triangle does not normally have a slope.

What is the slope of a 45 degree triangle?

The slope for a 45 degree slope triangle is 1/1 because the slope triangle is an isosceles right triangle.

How do you find a slope of a triangle?

In a triangle there are three angle. So, the side opposite to the greatest angle will be greatest side in the triangle and hence it will be the slope of the triangle. you can find slope of any side of the triangle by finding tangent of the angle made by it to the horizontal side eg. place one side of the triangle horizontally. to find the slope of any side A, drop a normal from the apex to intersect the imaginary horizontal line.measure the length(l1) of the normal. measure the distance (l2) between the intersecting point and other end of side A. l1/l2 will give you the slope of side A.

How do you find the right bisector of a triangle?

For triangle ABC, find the midpoint of side BC. Then, find the slope of side BC and use its negative reciprocal (since the negative reciprocal slope is the slope of the right bisector joining side BC and the opposite vertex). Finally, substitute the midpoint and negative reciprocal slope into the y=mx+b equation to get "b", then write the equation. :)

How do you find the slope of a roof on a rectangular prism?

Divide the shapes, so you're left with a triangular prism, and a rectangular prism. Calculate the slope of the triangle as per usual.

How do you find the slope when you have the y-intercept and one point?

Draw a straight line from the intercept to the given point. Under this line form a right angle triangle with the line being its hypotenuse. The vertical units of the triangle divided by the horizontal units will be the slope of the straight line.

How do you use gradients to find out if the triangle is right angled?

Not the best way of finding out if a triangle is right angled. But if you can find two if the sides which have gradients which when multiplied together gives -1, then the angle between them is a right-angle. This comes from the fact that if the slope of a line is a/b, then the slope of a perpendicular line is -b/a and the product of (a/b)(-b/a)=-1.
